Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Lenora uses Sign in with Apple. Open the app, tap Sign In, and follow the Apple authentication prompts. No separate password is needed.

Is Lenora free to use?

Yes. Flashcards, quizzes, and spaced-repetition reviews are free forever. AI-powered features (vocabulary generation, OCR translation, word enrichment) require credits, which are included in the paid subscription plans.

AI Features & Credits

What are credits?

Credits are consumed each time you use an AI-powered feature such as generating a word list, translating with OCR, or enriching a word. The number of credits used depends on the complexity of the request.

How do I get more credits?

Subscribe to a Basic, Pro, or Unlimited plan from within the app. Each plan refreshes your credit balance monthly. You can view available plans under Settings → Plans in the app.

My AI request failed — were my credits charged?

No. If an AI request fails, any credits that were reserved for it are automatically refunded to your account.

Subscriptions & Billing

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions, then select Lenora and tap Cancel Subscription. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a refund request directly to Apple.

Data & Privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your vocabulary data and account information are stored securely on AWS (Amazon Web Services). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Email LenoraSupport@bluekyte.de with the subject line "Delete my account". We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Technical Issues

The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly.

OCR isn't recognising text correctly.

For best results, ensure the text is well-lit and in focus before capturing. OCR works best on printed text with high contrast against the background.
